about me

Hi, thank you for visiting my website.
My name is Harald Bruijstens and I spend most of my time writing songs and producing music. I love the way sound can be organized in so many different ways, that it causes people to move, makes them experience joy or sorrow, or gives them a sense of identity.

As long as I can remember music has been my main nutrition. It feeds me with emotion, inspiration and it gives me lots of energy. I wrote my first lyrics when I was twelve and luckily I didn't stop there.
I've played in a few live bands as a rapper/singer/frontman, I have recorded local hip hop artists in my Project Studio and made beats and music and I did my share of remixing and producing dance music when the millennium started. But lately I've been putting my focus on writing toplines and producing lead vocals.

My work with Hard Dance DJ's like Brennan Heart, Zatox and Mark with a K has shown me how a single idea that starts in my head ends up in a football stadium, making 30.000 people sing along, or gets engraved in somebody's skin for all eternity. Those are the real rewards for a songwriter.

Bahama Kitchen Music is my Project Studio, it's my playground, my home. Welcome !

Project Studio

My Project Studio is equipped to fit my personal needs. It offers a recording booth for recording vocals and solo insstruments and a control room that fits two or three people. It's a cosy workplace for working on toplines but also for editing audio for event intros or podcasts.

Event Content

In the last decade many festivals have grown from local happenings to big events. Properly entertaining audiences with professional audio(visual) show elements has become essential. Trailers, intros and endshows have become crucial ingredients to draw in or engage and involve crowds.
